Home Made

A long time ago I saw this cookie stamp somewhere on the internet and just fell in love with it (it's at this point my friends would say ''such a Sofia thing to say..''). Earlier this week I went in to a store in Malmö and saw it, how could I not buy it?!
If you don't have a cookie stamp you can still make these cookies but just roll the dough out and use cookie cutters to make the shapes.
This is a really simple recipe and only takes about an hour.

What you need:
6 dl flour
3/4 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
200g butter
1 egg yolk
2 dl sugar
1 tablespoon milk

How you make them:
Step1: Preheat your oven to 190 degrees Celsius.
Step2: Sift flour, baking powder and salt together.
Step3: Add the butter and then the egg yolk and the other ingredients.
Step4: Shape the dough to golf ball sized balls and then take the cookie stamp and just press down on the dough. If the dough gets stuck in your cookie stamp just add some more flour to the dough. Put the cookies on some baking paper and then bake in the oven for 10 minutes or until golden brown.

Step5: When you take them out of the oven turn them upside down and put a few chocolate chips on the flat surface of each cookie and let them melt and them use a knife to cover the surface with chocolate.
Step6: Place them on a cooling rack and leave them there till the chocolate has solidified again.
