Hazelnuts and pink flowers.

New printer - happiness!
That was the first thing I realized when I started studying psychology,
that I needed a printer otherwise I wouldn't be able to get half of the stuff I
needed for the course..

Photo from when I was about six years old and one from when I was 18.

Silver glitter!

Found a pair of shoes that look a lot like the Chiara Ferragni sneakers that I love so much! They're not as nice but they were like a 10th of the price and as I'm a poor student I can't afford to pay for the real Chiara Ferragni sneakers so I'm happy with these ones.

In Göteborg / Gothenburg

Since we've been about three years old Klara, Lovisa and me have been best friends, So when Klara and Lovisa graduated high school in 2011 Klara took a year off an lovisa moved to Gothenburg to go to university there. A year later I graduated  high school and Klara and me moved to Lund so start studying there.
Now me and Klara are visiting Lovisa in Gothenburg to celebrate her birthday and its so amazing because we don't all get together that often anymore so when we do its just so much fun!

We decided that we were going to take a walk in a forest here in Gotherburg and when
we got to a lake we decided just to walk straight across it on the ice instead of around
it. People were ice skating and it was really great!

A picture of me and Lovisa when we were little, we were going to sail to America..
a couple of years later we decided to take a plane instead..
figured that that would be easier..

This and That.

The Wrangel library in Lund, just thought it looked really beautiful.

Went to a local bakery with one of m best friends Klara because
we hadn't seen each other for so long so it was definitely
time to catch up!

Looks so much better than it tasted, the green thing which basically
just consisted of whipped cream and marzipan (and a tiny bit
of cake on the bottom, only like 1 cm thick) and the chocolate
thing was filled with marzipan..

Some of my favorites!

You can find the recipe here.

3. Lemon cupcakes I made for our last School party before we graduated high school.

4. For our six month anniversary I made my ex-boyfriend a chocolate and hazelnut cupcake, put some special thought into it because I knew that this one was his favorite flavors. You can find the recipe here

Matte love

Today I had first lesson in psychology, well it was just the introduction but it seems so interesting and I can't wait to get started! Last term I studied Ethnology and it's easy to say that it wasn't the right thing for me..

So obviously I had to pick up some new school stuff so I just picked up this nail polish and another one on the way, so typical!

On Halloween I dressed up as a cat so I came up with
the idea to make my nails look like claws.

I don't remember where I saw these Louboutin nails
but I was bored and thought I'd try to do them.

Simple and elegant...

Black and white.

Five Details

Used the glass that i took out of the frame in the  Jewelry frame tutorial and put it ontop of my ''shelf'' to make it look a bit more glamorous and  put some of my favorite nailpolishes on it and two glass jars with jewelry in them on it (well one is fillew with rings and the other used to be filled with all the earrings that are now in the jewelry frame).

A new flower that I bought at IKEA and I just thought that the flowerpot was adorable so I just had to buy that too, I mean I couldn't buy a flower without a flowerpot.. :P

My bike!

Using one of my paintings as a shelf for tiny objects that are only in the way if they
stand somewhere else but I want to keep for special reasons..

Healthy breakfast is the best.

Jewelry frame

What you need :

Step 1,
Make small circles in the wire by wrapping it around the top of a pen or
another round object that might work.
This step is only if you want to hang earrings in your frame, if you don't
you can skip it. :)

Step 2,
Choose a frame that you think looks nice and separate it from the glass
and other things so that the only thing you have left is the frame.

Step 3,
Attach the wire to the wire to the back of the frame with something that
you think will be stable and will hold for a while.
You can attach as many wires as you want depending on what you want
to hang in your frame.

Step 4,
Hang all the jewelry that you want in it and hang it up on your wall!

It's crazy how much a carpet and a sofa can make a room feel so much ''warmer'' you get a totally different feeling when you walk into my room now! I'm so happy with the end result!

Now the only things missing are the pillowcases for the white pillows which my sister will be making for me!

So worth watching!!

Last pieces of the puzzle

Tomorrow I'm finally getting my furniture delivered after spending more money at IKEA than I've ever spent  before at one time but its totally worth it!
So tomorrow I'm going to spend the entire day putting all the pieces together and then my room will finally be done and I think ill finally be able to feel 100% at home!
Can't wait!

This is a sketch I drew a while ago of what I wanted
my room to look like, tomorrow it's finally happening!

Clever solution

A while ago I ordered a new mattress because I wasn't happy with the ones I had and yesterday it arrived, I put it in my bed but then I wasn't sure about what I was going to do with the old ones. I knew I would have to keep them in my room but I just didn't know where to put them so that they wouldn't be in the way and so you wouldn't be able to see them and I came up with a pretty clever solution if I may say so myself..

First I just put them up against the wall behind my bed and then I realized that I had a bookshelf from IKEA that I wasn't using that was the same length and width as the top of the mattresses so I simply took the bookshelf apart. I put one of the sides of the bookshelf underneath the mattress and the other side on top and left who of the screws where the shelves were fastened before in each side and then connected them with a wire so that it would be more stable so that the ''shelf'' wouldn't fall. And I'm really happy with the result!
So now i have a shelf that i'm actually using instead of one that is just standing around not being used :)

Problem solved!

It might not look that amazing from the side but
it's just a temporary solution
until my mother picks them up in May :)

Pink Deliciousness!

Last winter walk in Stockholm

My sisters Baby carriage that i adore so much!

The picture to the left is one that I took this morning and the one to the right I took of the same tree when I was visiting my sister in April 2012.

Something i love about Stockholm, one second
you're in the middle of the city and the
next your standing next to a coupple of deer.

My sister and her husband holding hands.

People were ice scating on the lake.
